The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board heard a presentation from the Public School District leadership. Election Commission Chairman Preston Ratliff appeared before the board. A discussion of premium pay for law enforcement personnel took place. The TIP Program for the Ramada Inn redevelopment project was discussed. Another discussion about cutting trees down on Elzy Road around Bishop Apartments took place. The EMA Director made a presentation. The board went into executive session to discuss Greenwood Leflore Hospital and the RFP that has been advertised. The board voted to bring in a healthcare consultant to advise it regarding the hospital's future.
