The city council held its regular hearing on dilapidated properties.

Troy Brown and his daughter appeared before the council to plead for a resolution in support of Greenwood Leflore Hospital. What they have in mind is for the council to pledge to use its zoning ordinances and the courts to stop North Sunflower Medical Center from opening a satellite clinic in the old Honest Abe's Donut building on Park Avenue. Greenwood attorney Lee Abraham recently sold the building to the Ruleville hospital.

The council took no action on their request.
