Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Tax Assessor Leroy Ware presented the 2024 real and personal property rolls to the board.

The board held a discussion about more affordible insurance for the county with Austin Bynum.

County Administrator Leroy Ware brought forward some approvals of requisition clerks, and also an invoice for housing prisoners at Carroll County Regional Correctional Facility.

An update was received on providing drinking water on Road 13.

Several matters were brought by Assistant Comptroller Jessie Williams.

Some matters regarding the volunteer Fire Department were discussed by Fred Randle.

The board went into executive session to discuss a personnel matter, but no action was taken.
