The Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board of Trustees held a special meeting.
After the opening prayer, the board went immediately into executive session, with the public and press excluded.
According to board attorney Tom Flanagan, the board was going to discuss "strategic planning," regarding the matter of leasing the hospital. Elizabeth Hooper from the Wise, Carter law firm in Jackson was also in attendance in the executive session. She has been providing legal guidance to the board throughout the lease process.
