The city council and board of supervisors held a public hearing at the civic center to gather input on the possible sale of the Greenwood-Leflore Hospital.

Four doctors, several elected officials, and other concerned citizens spoke. Almost all were opposed to the sale. Nobody spoke in open favor of selling the hospital.
