At a special called meeting of the Greenwood Public School Board this afternoon, Dr. Margie Pulley tendered her resignation effective August 31, 2012 as superintendent.

Dr. Pulley has been a Greenwood public school employee for more than 38 years, and has served as superintendent since 2009, according to her notice to the Board.

The Board voted unanimously to accept her resignation.
