This morning, the Mississippi Department of Education released unofficial Accountability Ratings for all Mississippi Public Schools. Greenwood rose from a 'D' to a 'C', while Leflore County's grade dropped from a 'C' to an 'F'.
The two districts merged in July this year, but these grades apply to the school year 2018-2019, before the consolidation took place.

The State Board of Education is scheduled to meet Thursday to make the grades official.
Here are the unofficial letter grade scores of the local schools according to today's report. Three prior years are included for comparision.
