At noon today, the intersection of Jeff Davis and Grand Boulevard was impassable to all but the largest trucks, as water spread completely across the street from up in the yards of the homes adjacent to it.

There was a police car located at the intersection on the East Jeff Davis side.

This reporter has never seen the flooding this severe in 50 years.
