The Leflore County Board of Supervisors voted at this afternoon's board meeting to end the county-wide mask mandate. The motion was made by District 1 Supervisor Sam Abraham.
The county's action follows the city of Greenwood allowing its city-wide mandate to expire last Tuesday morning.
At least three of the supervisors continued to wear their masks after the vote was taken to lift the requirement.
Temperatures will still be checked at the courthouse entrance, and persons with fevers will continue to be turned away.
