Late this afternoon, Judge Henry Lackey dismissed Sheriel Perkins' election contest against Carolyn McAdams.

After Perkins rested the plaintiff's case, McAdams' lawyers moved that the court dismiss the lawsuit. After arguments by both sides, Judge Lackey agreed and dismissed the case.

Lackey stated that there was no evidence that anybody was denied the right to vote in Wards 1 and 2.
