In a welcome about face, Greenwood Leflore Hospital has announced the re-opening of its After Hours Clinic, which provided primary care to people without a regular doctor.
The hospital announced the closure of the clinic on September 1, along with the closure of the ICU, Labor and Delivery, and the Ryan White and Magnolia Medical Clinics.
The After Hours Clinic will reopen next Monday, December 12. Its regular hours will be 8 am to 11 pm, Monday through Friday. It will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
The clinic is on the corner of Strong Avenue and 8th Street, across the street from the hospital emergency room.
Nurse practitioners Carrie Narmour and Daphne McKinney will both be back working at the After Hours Clinic.
The clinic offers routine and primary medical care for non-emergency issues. Emergency cases will be referred to the GLH Emergency Room.
