This morning, Khadarron Foreman was charged with the Christmas day murder of Sammie Louis Bryant.

Judge Ernest set his bond at $350,000.00.

Carroll County sheriff deputies were called out to Road 65 at 4:39 pm Christmas afternoon, to answer a 911 call regarding shots fired.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff Department release:

When deputies arrived, they found Sammie Louis Bryant lying on the ground with a single gunshot wound to the head. Friends of Bryant had begun administering CPR while awaiting CCSO and Medstat to get on scene. Bryant was transported by ambulance to Tyler Holmes Hospital and was then flown to a Jackson hospital where he died.

Though the shooter fled before authorities arrived, friends and family, who were present when the shooting occurred, identified Khadarron Denaris Foreman as the shooter. Foreman, age 28, of McCarley, was taken into custody by the CCSO Deputies later that afternoon and booked into Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility.

Sheriff Clint Walker stated:

We are praying for the family and friends of Mr. Bryant. For this to happen on Christmas Day is horrific. I pray that the Lord will comfort them as only He can.
