The demolition of the old Midway Hotel (which housed the Star Tailors store) in the 200 block of Carrollton Avenue has been completed.

The building suffered major wind damage on March 15, 2024, when a large portion of the front second floor brick wall was blown down into the street, blocking traffic for several days along Carrollton Avenue.
