The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board spent a great deal of the meeting hearing proposals from the architect on options for the new Justice Center addition to the county jail. The Board received a report from Jesse Taylor, director of the Juvenile Detention facility.
