The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved additional payments for repairs at the County Jail. A number of change orders were approved for the new jail annex facility under construction. Several recreational and park leases were approved.
