Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing for several pieces of dilapidated property. A zoning variance for Enoch Florence's property in Itta Bena was granted for the building of low-income housing. Irvin Bullet presented a proposal for a county web site and on-line credit card services. A farmer, David Howard, made a request for temporary road closing near his farm. A discussion regarding the unclaimed body of Pablo Fernandez was held. Some objections to the zoning variance granted earlier were presented.
