The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for the construction of Storm Shelters, and for the Viking Range Access Road Improvement project. Robert Fitzpatrick presented a request for a salary increase for a Juvenile Detention Center employee. Reappointments to the Airport Board were approved.
