The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held public hearings on various pieces of dilapidated property. T. W. Cooper presented several Emergency Management matters. Several resolutions relating to payment for the Viking Dishwasher project were approved. The Board accepted the resignation of Richard Dillon from the Airport Board. The Board once again tabled the question of reopening Road 285.
