The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a petition for sponsorship of the Community Band. A discussion took place regarding the road weight limit for roads approaching the proposed corn storage and distribution facility in the Rising Sun Industrial Park. The County discussed how it could pay for the projected $1.4 million it would take to strengthen the road to handle the heavy corn transport trucks. The Home Rehab project inspection results were discussed.
