Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board handled several matters from the NCPDD relating to the East Leflore Water and Sewer Project. A Tax Exemption for Raybestos was approved. The Board heard a request to purchase E-911 compatible equipment for the ambulence service. A presentation on the CrimeStoppers program was given. Several warrants were approved to settle up tax distributions to the city and various school funds. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss the garbage contract.
