Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a proposal from Lisa Foy on the lighting of the Courthouse for Christmas. Another discussion of repayment of an overpayment by the Home Program was scheduled, but the subpoenaed witness Mr. James Butts did not appear. Several items were presented by NCPDD's Steve Russell relating to the Viking Dishwasher project. T. W. Cooper presented several items related to emergency response. The Board discussed the unclaimed body of Charlie Riley.
