Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for two-year items and the Automatic Fuel Card system. NCPDD representatives brought several items related to the Viking Dishwasher project and the new Express Grain Terminal project. The Board voted to void a tax sale. A park in Schlater was named. A discussion relating to the Hog ordinance and the animals being kept by Daniel Sandifer in the Browning community took place. The Board voted to give Mr. Sandifer 60 days to remove the hogs or face a nuisance suit by the county. An emergency was declared relating to Bridge # 54. A discussion took place regarding damage done to private property by county road crews.
