The Board discussed the Business Incubator project with Herman Sullivan, chairman of Three Rivers Economic Development Corporation, which had formerly managed the Incubator for the county. Mr. Sullivan left the meeting after a heated exchange, and the Board voted to write the State Audit Department and request an audit of Three Rivers, which owes thousands of dollars in unpaid rent to the county. The Board discussed staffing and budget problems with the Juvenile Detention facility. The Browning Progressive Civic League appeared to state its opposition to the "Rails to Trails" proposal. The Board discussed making a change to the cut-off time for adding new items to its agenda. The cleanup of Carter Gaston's property was discussed. Two items relating to the Community Investment Bank, the MDCIIC, were discussed.
