The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened a bid to repair a bridge on CR 35. Jim Bennett of Time Warner Cable returned to discuss the franchise agreement. The Board voted to void a tax sale. Sid Peacock came to discuss the garbage pickup and the ordinance relating to unpaid pickup fees. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss litigation with Santek regarding the landfill management.
