A presentation was made regarding the Blues show being produced at the Civic Center. The Board voted to approve the purchase of three new sheriff's cars. Attorney Joyce Chiles reported that the waste management hauling firm has refused to vacate the premises, but the deadline given them has not yet lapsed. The Board approved the payment for work at Schlater Park which was done without the regular required purchase orders being obtained. The Chancery Court had ordered the payment as equitable relief because the work was performed for the county.
