Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board accepted a land deed from Jimmy Henderson for three quarters of an acre of land used by the airport for an expansion project. The Board heard complaints by Vernon Ricks that The Memphis Group had blocked access to his hanger at the airport. The Board took up the approval of the official county road maps. The Board heard a proposal for taking bids to remodel the Board room and a new court room upstairs in the court house.
