Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids on the $4,000,000 GO Bond issue and sold the bonds to the lowest bidder. NCPDD's Steve Russell presented two matters relating to a grant to rehabilitate County Road 512. Tax Collector Sara Kenwright presented the Insolvency Report. The final amended budget for the past fiscal year was adopted. The Board held a public hearing on the proposed connector road to benefit Viking Range Corporation.
