The Greenwood-Leflore Airport Board is the governing authority for the Greenwood-Leflore Airport. The Airport is jointly owned by Leflore County and the City of Greenwood. Ironically, the Airport is located outside Leflore County, across the border in Carroll County.

The Board met to conduct its regular monthly business. The Board determined to organize a meeting between GECAS, the city and county, and Mr. Vernon Ricks to discuss reaching an agreement regarding the desire of GECAS to obtain Mr. Ricks' leasehold, and to move Mr. Ricks to a new location.
