Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for a Bank Stabilization project. Objections to the Real and Personal property tax rolls were heard. The Board considered approving an interlocal agreement to create a Regional Medical Examiner District. The Board heard a request from Bill Clay to grant a property tax exemption for a charity organization he represents. Several requests for financial contributions were received. The Board went into executive session to discuss various pending litigation matters.
