Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board attended to several matters brought before it by County Court Judge Kevin Adams. Several dilapidated properties were also addressed. The Board closed out the failed "Micro-Enterprise" Grant that was administered by Three Rivers EDC. Mr. Otis Abron reported on the status of junk automobiles in the county. The Board voted to lease-purchase two garbage vehicles. The Board finalized the contract between itself and the Industrial Foundation for the Department of Human Services offices.
