Greenwood City Council

The Greenwood City Council is the legislative body that governs the city of Greenwood. The executive power is held by a Mayor who is elected by the people every four years, along with the seven council members. The City Council generally meets twice each month at the City Hall.

The Council held its regular monthly meeting. It agreed to pay former city attorney James Littleton for services he rendered after he had been fired by Mayor McAdams. A large dispute was aired over a developer's plan to build patio houses in Ward 2. The matter was tabled.
