The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Mayor McAdams came before the Board to discuss the Health Grant. Bids were opened for Home Grant construction projects. The MS Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks requested assistance in cleaning up the Sky Lakes Wildlife Management Area. Various tax sales were voided at Mrs. Kenwright's request. The Holiday vacation schedule was approved. The Board approved a grant of $5000 for the Christmas Parade.
