Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board recognized the contributions of Louis Coleman, a Leflore County native. Bids were opened for various supplies. The cable company came to present information on the dangers of digging in the area of their cable runs underground. The Board tabled an interlocal agreement with the City of Greenwood for further study. The County Engineer led a discussion of 2010 stimulus funds the county might obtain.
