The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board considered funds for the Cottonlandia Museum. The Board heard a request from the North Sunflower Home Health Agency for a property tax exemption on its Leflore County facility. Some matters related to the Home Grant were dealt with. T. W. Cooper brought some emergency management matters before the Board. The Engineer brought a grant proposal for the Corps for drainage relief in the Rising Sun subdivision.
