The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public teleconference with HUD officials concerning the Delta Apartments purchase. A presentation on a household cooking oil recycling program took place. The Board considered sponsorship of the Itta Bena October Festival. County Road maps were accepted from the engineer. A discussion regarding the placement of Emmitt Till historical markers took place.
