The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board accepted several bids for construction on various projects. A new director for the North Central Narcotics Task Force was approved. The Board discussed the option for the county to buy the Delta Apartments from HUD. A discussion of the budget for the upcoming year took place.
