The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened and accepted various bids for fuel and several vehicles. A zoning variance hearing was held. Several matters relating to grants were presented by the NCPDD representative. Several matters relating to the tax levy and distribution of taxes were approved. Several road repair projects were presented by the County Engineer for approval.
