The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board reappointed county officials for the new year. The Board approved a sub-lease by the new free clinic to the hospital of a portion their office building. A resolution supporting the CVB and the extention of the supporting 1% sales tax on food and lodging was approved.
