The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from Beth Stevenson on the Stars and Stripes Festival. The foundation leveling project for the health clinic building was discussed. An emergency was declared for Leflore County in the aftermath of the April 26th storms. An agreement between the Secretary of State and Leflore County was approved.
