Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from Slaughter and Associates regarding the new redistricting plan. The Board approved sale of industrial park property to APAC for a new asphalt plant. An application for an Emergency Watershed Project for the Dugan Bayou was approved. The sale of the 2011 Refunding Bond issue was taken up. A discussion was held regarding a pay raise for county workers but no action was taken.
