The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed the issue of how items should be placed on the agenda. A report on the tornado sirens was received. Attorney Joyce Chiles was designated to interface between the political parties and the election officials for the conduct of the primary elections. The Special Bridge Inspection was approved.
