The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Several bids were opened. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss sale of Industrial Park property to a biofuel plant. Several matters from Judge Kevin Adams and Judge W. M. Sanders were taken up. The Chamber of Commerce requested $5000 to support the Stars and Stripes Festival. The Solid Waste agreement was approved by a vote of 3-2.
