The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board received the property tax rolls from Tax Assessor Leroy Ware and began the process of equalization as required by law. Coronor Debra Sanders requested an order to dispose of the unclaimed body of Willie Cooper Jr.
