The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board began the equalization of the property tax rolls. The tax exemption for Delta Oil Mill was finally approved. The county insurance cafeteria plan administrator and enrollment dates were approved. The Leflore County School budget was reviewed.
