Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved bids to re-roof the court house, civic center, and jail house annex. The Board approved payment to Motorola for $250,000 for a communications system. The Browning Community Park lease was approved. The School Budget was approved, with Mr. Wolfe voting against it. The Home Rahab project was discussed. A discussion was led by Mr. Ratliff of a pay raise for county employees.
