Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The board held its public hearing on the budget. The Board refused to adopt the budget by a 3-2 vote. A special meeting for Wednesday morning was called to take up the budget again. A tax exemption for Quality Mental Health was approved. A discussion about hiring a new security firm for the DHS building was held. Roby Construction was approved as a new renter at the Incubator.
