Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for fuel and a GPS tracking system. Angela Curry of the Industrial Foundation gave her end-of-year report. Jeff Martella presented a proposal for collection of Justice Court fines. NCNTF's Chuck Harris presented several items for Board action. Juvenile Detention Center director Robert Fitzpatrick brought some employment matter to the Board for action. T. W. Cooper, Emergency Management Director, brought a grant application and FEMA agreement to the Board for approval. The Board approved the surety bonds for most of the county elected officials.
