Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a hearing for the rezoning of Plantation Drive. Bids were opened for construction of the county maintenance facility. Bids were accepted for a GPS tracking system for county vehicles. The renewal of the ambulance contract was taken up. Angela Curry presented an agreement with the Clint Williams Company regarding the peanut facility to be constructed in the industrial park.
