Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Tax Assessor Leroy Ware presented the Real and Personal Property Tax Rolls to the Board for equalization and approval. Bids for the EWP Projects for CR 34 and 35 were accepted. The Sheriff discussed county jail renovations. The Board went into executive session to discuss the settlement of the Vernon Ricks airport lawsuit as well as the MDEZA escrow fund dispute. The Board voted to approve the Ricks settlement.
