Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Bids for the sale of the $4 million GO Bonds were opened and tabulated. The Board voted to equalize the tax rolls. Judge Kevin Adams presented several items related to the business of the court. Items related to the peanut production facility construction were approved. The costs to renovate the county jail were discussed. The employee insurance cafeteria plan administrator was approved. The matter of approving the candidates for election commission was tabled, as an Attorney General's opinion is awaited.
